Life-Changing Fundraising & Charitable Donations

Everything you donate to Graida Union goes towards making it possible for children in Graida, Sudan, and the surrounding area go to school from kindergarten through grade 12. We see ensuring that these young people get an education as an important factor in giving them a chance at a good life.

Generous Monetary Donations

Graida Union uses all monetary donations to fund the building of new schools, including paying the wages of construction crews, pay the educators who teach in them, and establish water wells with working pumps. Funding is also used to purchase property on which to build the schools, which will be better than the schools that were destroyed by the violence that plagues the area.

We welcome in-kind donations of supplies for the students attending our schools. Examples of what these children need include the following:

Healthy Food for a Good Start

Children concentrate and learn more when they are well fed. That is why we are working to provide free breakfast to all children attending our schools. We want them to have as many odds in their favor as possible. Graida Union accepts donations of perishable foods and canned goods as well as other healthy food items. We are also grateful for contributions of cups, flatware, plates, napkins, and other dining items.

Transportation to School

It can be a challenge for many children to get to school in Graida and the surrounding area. We accept in-kind donations of bicycles for students to use as well as monetary donations to rent and manage bus transportation for students who need it.
